Byfield is pleased to announce the launch of our new website, and the next evolution of our brand identity: establishing our position as a leading consultancy providing reputation counsel to the legal sector and its clients.
Just as law firms provide counsel to their clients on legal issues, Byfield provides counsel on how best to build, protect and support our clients’ reputations. Reputation counsel is formed of the core services Byfield offers to the legal sector and what we have become known for over the years: building reputation through brand building PR and campaigns, content creation and digital marketing; protecting reputation in times of crisis; and working alongside law firms to support their clients’ reputations during litigation.
- Building- Building a strong reputation is a commercial imperative. It is needed to rise above the noise and be noticed. As legal sector communication specialists, Byfield positions leading law firms in front of the audiences that matter most. We understand the value law firms place on reputation and use our knowledge, insights and contacts to our clients’ commercial advantage.
- Protecting – When a law firm’s actions are called into question, the potential for reputational damage is greater than in almost any other sector. Consequently, it is vital to ensure you are well-prepared for any crisis event, and able to act swiftly and decisively to protect your firm’s reputation. Byfield acts for law firms in highly sensitive and business-critical situations across a broad range of crisis situations.
- Supporting – Winning in the court of law doesn’t necessarily lead to in winning in the court of public opinion. When a client is involved in litigation, everyone likes to keep an eye on the dispute, and managing public opinion can be a difficult tightrope to walk. Byfield offers clients a complete service in litigation and dispute PR including thorough preparation of messaging and communication materials in advance of any litigation becoming public; through-trial media and stakeholder communications management; and post-trial reputation rebuild.
Since our launch in 2007, which came at the same time as the passage of the Legal Services Act, we are proud to have helped build, protect and support the reputations of over 175 legal sector businesses. We are very grateful to our clients, past and present, for helping to build and support Byfield, our business and our reputation. Our team is dedicated to the legal sector, our clients and the development of legal sector communications and we hope you find the new website useful in learning more about Byfield and our services. If you would like to know more about reputation counsel, we’d be delighted to tell you – it’s what we do.
