- We were engaged to elevate the profile of a global Top 100 law firm, focusing on a number of key practice areas including: corporate, banking & finance, and disputes and investigations. Our goal, which we achieved, was to increase market awareness of the team’s capabilities and expertise.
Counsel:
- Understanding the time constraints and client commitments of the partners, we devised a targeted communications strategy that would yield maximum impact with minimal time investment. We combined our knowledge of the practice area and the team’s focus with current editorial themes in the media. This facilitated a series of introductory meetings with key correspondents at target publications such as the Financial Times, The Times and Financial News.
Our strategy was twofold: relationship building with key journalists and quick-fire comment opportunities on well-defined areas of focus. This approach enabled us to significantly increase the firm’s share of voice in top-tier national and trade press, thereby building awareness of the practice.
Building:

Over a period of six months, our efforts resulted in the partners being quoted in prestigious titles such as the Financial Times, The Times, Reuters, Bloomberg, The Telegraph, and Sky News.The impact of our work was substantial. The media profile of the key practice groups has dramatically increased, now outperforming its direct competitors in terms of share of voice in highly regarded international and national business press.
