London International Disputes Week (LIDW) is an annual conference designed as a venue for litigation specialists to discuss the industry, learn valuable insights from market leaders, and to celebrate London’s heritage as the international homeland of litigation. LIDW approached Byfield with a brief based around reputation building with the intention of launching their first annual event, and positioning itself as the definitive industry conference on litigation and dispute resolution. Byfield came on board to promote the launch of LIDW 2019 to key industry figures and audiences.
Byfield devised a campaign to promote the first LIDW event via a press and social media engagement programme. This involved preparing messaging around the launch of the first annual LIDW conference and creating a suite of content to be used in its promotion across web, media relations and social media engagement. Our work spanned the months building up to the event, media and social media engagement throughout the conference and ongoing engagement following LIDW19.
LIDW19 was attended by over 1,100 delegates and the 4-day event cemented London’s reputation as a key centre for dispute resolution globally. LIDW19 reached over a million accounts on social media during the week itself, and was covered by a range of publications including Law.com and The Times.
